- Take 6-7 hours soaked rice and dal.Drain it.Put it in grinder with beaten curd and grind into a smooth batter.
- Keep it in warm place for fermentation for overnight. This time can vary in different place for different temperature.
Now mix salt to taste with fermented batter. - Take a pan,grease with oil in medium heat.
Pour ladle of batter in the pan.Cover it for a minute.
Now add half of vegetable topping. Sprinkle little salt and pepper. cover it for 1 minute. - Break 1 egg on the uttapam and spread this with a fork or spoon.
Sprinkle half of grated cheese over it.
